Coffee beans cultivated in Mexico typically have a lighter body and a nutty flavour. But some, such as this one, can have a bolder taste with more pronounced acidity. You may also notice hints of chocolate.
This coffee has an intense and very aromatic taste. A light fragrant acidity gives it all its character.

Mexicans are increasingly aware that, in too many of their plantations and factories, human rights are ignored, workers basic needs are not met and the environment is threatened. The development of fair trade commerce between the North and South is essential to improve the living conditions of millions of coffee growers and workers. That is why Fair Trade promoting fair trade as an economic development tool.
Fair trade goods are paid at a fair price to Mexican growers’ coops and democratic workers associations that use environmentally conscious practices. Part of that revenue contributes to local development and help start community projects for better education, health and environmental protection.
