Description
The history of chai begins in India many centuries ago. At the time, the drink consisted only of milk, herbs and spices. In the 1800s, the British introduced tea to India. Tea was then added to the recipe. It is now the traditional and national Indian drink made of spiced and sweetened milk tea, consumed by millions of people every day. The term “chai” simply means “tea”, derived from the Chinese word “cha”.

Preparation: add 2 heaping tbsp. (40 g) of the Chai latte blend to 1 cup (250 ml) of hot milk or hot water and mix well.
